Much like the physical direct mail calendar, a steady stream of targeted e-blasts was sent throughout the year. These emails were branded as “exclusives” for voyages in the more distant future, while “dream deals” pertained to more near-term sailing dates. We added over a million new names to our email database annually by running a variety of cruise sweepstakes and other promotions.
