We built a robust SFJAZZ marketing team that set new ticket sales records and produced vibrant fundraising materials, helping pave the way for construction and launch of the SFJAZZ Center in 2013. A key element of our digital marketing strategy was consistent online advertising, supporting entire seasons as well as individual artists. This generated millions of impressions, thousands of clicks and steadily improved ROI.
We collaborated with Seed Labs to build the first mobile app for SFJAZZ, a guide to all concerts each season.
A compelling 32-page brochure and an hour-long DVD were just two elements of a beautiful presentation kit that kicked off a $64M capital campaign to build the SFJAZZ Center.
Produced for eight seasons, these 48-page books provide a rich overview of SFJAZZ, a strong fundraising appeal and descriptions of each upcoming concert.
Comprehensive 8-panel brochures outline the various SFJAZZ member benefits and reasons to join. Included here are separate pieces for basic and Leaders Circle membership levels.
We produced SFJAZZ spots on both commercial and public radio stations including KFOG, KBLX, KQED, KALW, KCSM and others. Scripts were updated weekly, highlighting specific artists and events.
We worked very closely with research provider WolfBrown to design, field and analyze a 4-year quantitative study of SFJAZZ audiences. Key insights were gained during this critical time.
A series of exciting web videos was created to support the SFJAZZ Center capital campaign, featuring many of the major stars in jazz and world music.
Collaborating with the Boldium agency, we developed a complex website design to handle concerts, education and various fundraising initiatives. It served its purpose well, 2010-17.
